5 Ways to Automate Your Marketing Workflow with Zapier

Zapier is a powerful tool. Whether you use it personally, for work, or never heard of it, it can be used to automate your marketing. Say you want to send new emails to Asana as new tasks, or send a Tweet when the weather changes, it's all possible with Zapier.

While it can be overwhelming at first, thinking of all the possibilities, Zapier is a way to shave off hours every single week from your marketing workflow — there's ways to utilize it to your advantage.

Send Trello cards to social media as posts.

Managing your social channels can be a headache — especially if you don't have a tool like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later set-up. However, you can use your project management tool, like Trello, to automatically send new social posts your feeds. Just by setting up a Zap.

Create tasks in Asana by forwarding an email.

Simply set up a Zapier forwarding address in a new Zap, and send emails directly to Asana (or any project management tool) as a task. Making it easy to wrangle your inbox and stay on top of the things you need to do.

Send new social media mentions to a Google Sheet.

Staying on top of your brand presence is hard, especially when multiple channels are involved. Curious if anyone is talking about your brand or wanting to reach out? Set up a Zap for each channel that will add a new row to a Google Sheet, allowing you to see all your brand's mentions in once place.

Speed up approval by sending new Google Drive uploads to your email.

When a file is uploaded to a specific Google Drive folder, you can have a Zap send you an email notifying you of it's upload. If you require approval on creative, collateral, or any other media, you can quickly take a glance in your email inbox rather than losing track of what's been added or updated.

Track marketing metrics with automated reporting.

Send metrics from any paid channels like Facebook to a Google Sheet or your email, to get daily, weekly, or monthly reports on how campaigns might be performing.
